645D sample images

http://www.pentax.jp/japan/imaging/digital/medium/645d/ex.html#top

Reminds me of Velvia somehow. I wish I knew what contrast/saturation settings were used. They also seem to have underexposed most of them (at least for my taste). That wide angle zoom looks great.

I wonder how would they look in sherpening 1 or 2 option. From what i see i think that maybe the lens dosen't match the resolution of the sensor. Anyhow i simply like those samples

I'm sure the gallery prints would be impressive (22x30" @240dpi).

Thanks Ogl for the translations. Those +/- symbols, is that exposure compensation?

Here's a question: were all those FA 645 lenses listed on that website ever out of production in Japan?

In other words, were they discontinued, and revived for the 645D?

That first example really shows what 40MP worth of resolution gives you. Wow!

I don't think so - or if production was stopped, then only for a short time (I assume production was moved to Vietnam?). They had a lot of them on display in Yodobashi when I visited Tokyo and Osaka 2,5 years ago.

ISO800/10000 in JPEG without NR - it's good IMO

FA33-45/4.5 is good at f8-16. Not bad at f4.5.
DFA55 is good from f2.8

But it's JPEG. I think from RAW will be MUCH better.
