Personally I'd much rather take an existing 8-16 than a non-existing one.
From what I had read earlier I thought the Sigma 30/1.4 was very nice, but now I looked at Photozone and it seem like it may not be. Though I may have only cared about boke and not sharpness and such when I looked earlier.
For price I'd rather take Sigmas 150/2.8 macro than Nikons 105/2.8 micro VR.
Also Pentax already use the 50-135 and one or more other Tokinas as their lenses.
The Tokinas are well regarded for their buld but so is the Sigma EX, and Sigmas lens line is a hell of a lot bigger than Tokinas.
