Here are the numbers for the week ending June 13th, and at #60, the 645D is higher ranked than the best-selling K-7 version (and if I didn't miss anything, the only FF cameras above it on the list are D700 and 5DMkII):

It's a bit difficult to judge from this ranking since there are so many variants of it, but it does indeed look like it's dropping on the ranking. The NEX 3 probably steals a lot of customers from Pentax.

#31 Kx sales are going up

One week's sales summary is probably not that meaningful for any model. I do think the 645 has got a nice run ahead of it and Kx as well.

any rankings like this are very difficult to track something like the k-x because it has so many different variations (black kit, black kit + 55-200, black kit + 55-300, red kit, white kit, every other color in japan). When the cash for clunkers program came out there were stories mocking how people were trading in their old trucks for new trucks because there was only 1 or 2 models of trucks that qualified and a model was defined by the sales figures reported as body type/engine/trim. So the people who were utilizing the program to upgrade their truck were all funneled into a couple of models while people buying cars had lots of selections even within the same body type (vw jetta 5 cyl/turbo/diesel/wagon etc) causing the sales for any one model as you would look and see on the road to seem low compared to trucks with only one engine type.

I was curious whether the 645D would immediately drop out of the sales ranking again this week (if the previous week's sales included pre-orders), but it's still there, now at #69. And there are still only 2 FF cameras ahead of it (but 1D Mk IV is right behind at rank #72). Also noteworthy: Most K-x models have climbed slightly again. And 7D sells better than FF models...
