So far 18-135mm WR is already seen together with K-5. I know there would be 400mm DA* and 18-260mm. So far WR 18-135 was correct from info the i got. Hope the other two materialize.

Ah, I know that DA* 300 is more or less FF compatible, and I suppose that if they were to come out with 400 tele they would probably make it FF compatible too. But, I am not sure why they want to name it DA. Maybe D FA 400. I did hear about 400 not too long ago down the grape vine though . . . . .

And, I hope that they would come out with a very cool rear converter before 400 tele . . . . .

In future,all new telelenses in higher class and * class will have ff compatibilty.
I think the next bigger lensstep will be to the next PMA in september 2011.

but it makes sense for full frame cameras, Pentax can't keep their heads in the sand forever over FF.

That is the old Minolta Rokkor f8 Mirror lens. As far as I know, it is the only af mirror lens ever made.

Yes, but this is Pentax so it would be f/5.6 or slower rather than f/4 or faster. :ugh:
