I looked at SS post and checked it against what I've already been told.

His posting was purely guess work and pulling bits and pieces from sources that are available on here and on dpreview forums.

He said 18mp sensor it's only a 16mp.

He only got 2 things right (well partly) one is relating to the AF been improved (which isn't a big secret) and the other which is a decent feature that the 645D has and it would've seemed logical Pentax would've brought it into their flagship APS-C model, which is apparently what the K-5 will feature
Are you talking about real Mirror lock up, or dual SD? I would be more happy with dual SD

I can also confirm the K-5 won't have screwdrive motor or shake reduction.
I laughed out loud when I read this!

No SR would make some sense - as with 645D . But no screwdrive makes such nonsense that it instantly dismisses other points made along with it.

i'm curious to know what the SAFOX ??? will be with the Kr K5 models.

the 645D used SAFOX IX, will these use SAFOX-X?

nice ring to it - SAFOXX!

53 days till photokina, earlier for the leaks.

now where is Mr. Blurry Photo when you need him

hmmmm. amazon's K7 price just shot up from $792 to $894.... low stock?
that goes the same for B&H.

tammy 28-75 also went up by $50 to $499

something's brewing...

Aha! Now that explains it! So all these K-r and K-5 rumors are just planted by Pentax in order to really be able to surprise us with an FF camera!

The 645D has a dedicated button for it.

But is it double click (1st=Mirror, 2nd=release shutter), or simply enables timer action?
This is very important for shake free timed shots, where you lock the mirror and wait for the shot (or enable some automated release).

True. Forgot about that.

Extra buttons on a K-5 could mean bigger body compared to K-7? Not too much I hope...

Most important (budget wise) for me is the View Finder. I hope it stays the same. Why? Because I spend considerable money on a custom made KatzEye focussing screen that I would like to migrate from the K-7 to my next camera. I could when I moved from K10D to K20D, but had to have a new one made for the K-7...

Then I'm glad I bought mine Tammy (along with its big bro Mr. 70-200/2.8) back when I shot film... That only leaves the 18-55WR to deal with (but I've had my eyes on this lovely sigma 12-24 for a looooong time now...).

C.W Tsorotes I wish you'd go away for a while and, like, take some photos or something.

You say you hate these speculation threads and yet you post and post and post in them, and troll them heavily too. Why do you bother?
