Here is a starter...
This year World Pentax Day falls on "Vietnam Veteran's Day" (here in Adelaide).
Here's an idea for some photo opportunities this coming Sunday 15th August, involving our Vietnam veterans, many will be in uniform sporting well deserved medals. In addition, Adelaide's Vietnamese community always get involved in this celebration, and along with the vets never miss an opportunity to have a photo taken!

Here's part of their blurb...
"Activities on Sunday 15th August begin with a Gunfire Breakfast at Torrens Parade Ground at 8.30am, followed by a march from the State National War Memorial to the parade ground.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Vietnam War Memorial at 11am. Following this the concert begins. Compered by Pat Kennedy (Big Pretzel) and featuring Lucky Starr, Bev Harrell, Army Band, Evan Jones, Linda McCarthy and other acts. The family-friendly carnival is open to the public and includes food, drinks and display stalls. Free admission."
The Vietnam War Memorial is on Victoria Drive, near the parade ground.
Hope you can come, and hope that the weather is fine.....
Cheers, John
