I would love a 200mm f/4 macro and a 80-400 f/4-5.6.

Am I asking to much?

Imo, the lack of lens releases recently implies that something big is coming. Something that would steal sales of the present lens line up if presented too early or introduced to market step by step.
A few options comes to my mind:

1 D-FA lenses (would reduce both crop lens and camera sales if leaked too early)
2 WR update to many of the non * lenses
3 Lenses made for contrast AF

Sums it up pretty well. My thinking as well.

Unless Pentax surprises us with completely new lenses for a small-mount mirrorless, here's what I think may come:

- Release of the already shown 645 ultra wide
- A fast and inexpensive lens in the 30-35mm range. They really need this.
- The mythical super tele (from the road map)
- A Pentax-designed super zoom (or "almost super", e.g. 18-105)

In addition, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a relaunch of "the three amigos" in WR version with quick shift.

You're very close, very close indeed.

We much more need a fast prime in the 24-28mm range. And the 135mm "range".

I would like a light walk around lens, such as sigma 24-70 f2.8, but much lighter. I would like it to be a sharp IQ lens as well, indeed i am definitely asking too much.

You are very close. We will see DAL's, not WR's, no data on the super-tele, but a new tele-"kit" lens.

I know we (i.e. the experienced users) need that, but Pentax urgently needs a fast and cheap normal lens since such a lens has become such a common recommendation for kit lens users who want to take their photography one step further.

This is disappointing if true. I would rather see Pentax dedicate their lens manufacturing to lines which advance their strengths rather than their weaknesses. Quickshift is an acceptable bridge from the screwdrive system to in-lens motors. DA-L lenses are a step backwards. WR/AW lenses/bodies enable Pentax to differentiate themselves from their market competitors. I understand that Pentax has to compromise to hit certain price points in the market, but I'd rather that they were $20 more expensive if it meant that they could have a consistent lens line-up of: consumer = quickshift + non-sealed; pro = in-lens motor + sealed. They need to commit to their strengths. I also understand that they're stuck in a hard place with backwards compatibility being one of their strengths (e.g. the "limited" lenses), but they need to commit to a progressive roadmap. DA-L never should have happened IMO.

24mm corresponds to the classic street shooters film 35mm.

28mm corresponds to the true normal that Pentax had properly as 43mm.

If I was teaching a class on photography I would require that these focal lengths to be used, for historical reasons if no other. I am not talking "experienced" or speciality uses here, but rather the most run-of-the-mill uses possible.

I personally dislike the 35mm aspect on APS-C, which corresponds to 52mm film. I never liked standard 50mm lenses on film either.

I even prefer 43mm on APS-C to 35mm, even though it corresponds to the wacky 64mm field of view. But that could be because the lens is the best Pentax has made. :-)

As for 135mm, it's very good we have a nice 10mm macro, but a distance lens optimised for portraits with at least f/2 largest aperture is missing. This would be perfect for stage / runway work. If it's a larger FA77 I would be very happy.
