Pentax on facebook and twitter

Pentax posted this 11 hours ago:

(from facebook)
"PENTAX Are you following us on Twitter? Yesterday I posted an interesting picture of the photo shoot. www.twitter.com/pentaxian

Can anyone guess what camera this shoot was for?"

URL to picture: Twitpic - Share photos on Twitter

Pentax comment on the picture on facebook after several speculations from fans:

"PENTAX The picture was taken with a Droid to be loaded directly to Twitter...but the pic is associated with a new short video for a camera."

It's a pretty esoteric clue.....doesn't really hint or give away anything.

Noise and resolution look more like a compact camera.

You think the cam will be orange stripey?
I would not like the cam to be painted (doubt anyone would make stripey plastic), maybe just swirly plastic colour patterns.

Anyway, if it's related to video it may not contain any clues ar all. Ad's often barely relate their content to actual feature.

Interesting actor combination. Are professional green backgrounds usually so uneven?

its not the stripes represent on how you change color ingrips etc like K-X. I meant the new single color separated chips in front of the lady. Look at it again please,

The green screen indicates that Pentax has a new tourist portrait mode. You no longer need to travel to take a photo of your torso in front of a landmark. The K-tourist will swap in the background of your choice. Imagine yourself at the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Disneyland, Alamo, Statute of Liberality, and you haven't even left your chair or put on your shoes. Yes sir, it's a killer feature.

Thank you
Russell

Sure Russel, but then the chair would appear in the grand canyon, yellowstone etc. Bad feature, will be the end of Pentax if they release a camera with such a feature. (sarcasm if you don't get it)

Why on Earth did they use a cameraphone? Is it the screen of my phone, or is the pic unclear and noisy?
