Not really. The GH1 comes with a 14-140 which comes out be around 18-200, the Nikon comes with an 18-105. Both lenses offer stabilization. Pentax is dropping the ball with lenses.

The GH1 has a sensor diagonal of 21.6mm compared to 28.4 on the Pentax aps-c sensor so it does make it a bit odd. Pentax has in body SR so they aren't dropping the ball. What we meant by "odd" is that it seems like a random number to come up with and make a statement like "if they don't make this I leaving." That is regardless of the camera maker.

Yes, my point exactly, I want lenses, and PENTAX lenses!!! I don't want to have to buy a Sigma lens to get an all in one 18-250mm!!! And Sigma is the only company making Pentax mount lenses, Tamron has dumped the Pentax mount. I came back to Pentax from Canon, now I don't know why

I thought with the K7 Pentax would bring out new glass, but the future doesn't look bright for me.

I don't want to carry 500 lenses with me. One that covers 18-200mm is perfect. I'm not a pixel peeper. Plus I use Dxo 6 and shoot raw. Oh well, I guess I'll just sell the K7.

No one said anything about 500 lenses. However, 500 pounds of lenses isn't a lot of fun to carry around for extended periods either.

Where did you get that? The Tamron site still contains the 28-75 f/2.8 in Pentax mount.
