I think what you're mistaking for a bad Photoshop job is just compression artifacts.
Again, that isn't a crop from the image you started this thread with. Glad you could catch up though!

The biggest evidence is the 5 is set higher than the K. All the K's and numbers on their other DSLR's all line up. Do you think they are going to release their most expensive body yet, and someone is not going to align the K- and the 5 straight??

The 5 is photoshopped into this photo of the K-7: just zoom in a bit and you'll see pixelation and misalignment. Here's what's more probable: Pentax K-5 specifications.
Agreed

FWIW, according to Exiftool, this is the metadata of the Lenstip K-5 image:

Not really very revealing. The Lenstip JPEG also has a JPG thumbnail embedded in it that matches up with the main image.

Easiest way to prove this is Photoshopped: check the fake reflection on the bottom. Someone just flipped the image and changed opacity

Hate those poor editing jobs... although the camera itself looks legit.

Handsome, just like the K-7.

There's been a lot of Full-Frame speculation on the K-5. After seeing this, There are 3 possibilities:

1. The K-5 is not FF.

2. Pentax made a mistake and put the 18-55 on it instead of a real FF lens.

3. Someone photoshopped a K-7.

My money's on #1.
#3 I don't think so, as someone else pointed out, the dial on left side of camera is different from k-7.
k-7 has 3 grooves, k-5 has 4, and sits higher up

Someone "in the know" said on a German forum that this is a real image from Pentax.
I believe it's real.

Btw. I am waiting for FF, too!

As I explained before, Lenstip is a respectable website, not an unknown chinese forum. If they say they get it from Hoya, it cannot be a fake image. So here is the K5.

Don't expect too much for the FF, you will see an EVIL camera before a FF one from Pentax.
Anyway, no FF sensor available on the market for 2010, so at least one more year to wait for FF pentaxians. On my side I am tired to wait. K5 seems nice, but high isos images will be kind of blurry (just as the K-r ones, if people checked carefully) so I jump on 5DmII.
By the way, am I the only one to think the (leaked) price for K5 is way too much expensive compared to the other cameras using that same Sony sensor?!? (especially the Nikon D7000, offering at least the same characteristics than the Pentax, but being a... Nikon!! )

Most likely, the K-7's successor will re-use the same body. No surprise here, then...

Wow. Without seeing the camera, without any sample you "know" that high ISO images "will be kind of blurry". Could you tell me next week's lottery numbers?
Even for the K-r, I doubt you saw anything than pre-production samples (with firmware 0.20). Let's wait for better samples, with a production camera and final firmware.

I don't care about "leaked" prices (for all I know, that specs list could be made up - using past rumors, guessing, wishful thinking and that IRSimple thingie we heard about not so long ago). The D7000 is also a rumor.
Comparing rumors... I think I'll pass

I still remember you and many other guys here claiming it was a fake image
Maybe a small "I was wrong" would be nice?

I understand the new K5 is the same as the K7, this being the case, I am disappointed, the K7 body is too small for me personally, although the specification of the K5 is an improvement.
