Quoted from dpreview K-5 hands on spec page:

• Continuous Hi: 7 fps, up to 40 Best JPEG frames, 15 images RAW*
• Continuous Lo: 3.3 fps, JPEG until card is full, 17 images RAW*

If anything, I beleive 14bit shooting will result in 8 frames, however... the D700 is also limited to about 1/2 it's buffer at 14bit as well... so I don't think the K-5 is subpar there tbh.
