with no confirmation sound like the K-7, it was obviously set to frame rate priority. who knows how many frames of that AF-C video are actually in focus.
I thought that exact same thing. He can bang away at whatever rate he wants, but lets see the images.

I only saw the FULL HD (25 fps) in the specs or preview information but didn't see whether or not K-5 could auto-focus when recording movies.
Does anyone know that if K-5 do auto-focus when recording movies?

Anyways, I am excited to see K-5 announced and several improved performance/functions.
Let's wait for more review and samples ^_^.

It appears that Pentax screwed up on the 12800 max specs on their official page. If you watch the first look video:

[YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNCee0R1sow[/YT]

Check at the 1:50 mark where Carolyn says it goes up to 12,800, but a blurb pops up with a Pentax logo, saying it is indeed expandable to 51,200.

They should really fix their official specs pretty quick, before more confusion sets in.

...Everything I've wanted out of my K-x. Now to wait and see if the high-ISO is as good/better than the K-x...and save pennies!

I would say yes because it now has AF in live view.

Yes, this is so annoying. Someone should get fired for this. How can you end up with different spec sheets for one camera?

Ah, forgive my insolence.
As you can see, I do not own a K-7

Hello. We are the PR amateurs from Colorado. Nice to meet you.

Why would a new camera already need a FW update to enable a feature? (SDXC ability)
