I can understand they wanted to add some more dynamic looking images than the boring but functional product shots you usually see but these are indeed horrible. Looks like they just took a series of shots at random angles without even looking through the viewfinder. It would be hard to get such horrid compositions while you were looking.

If pentax won't do manual video controls then maybe they could implement something like this (taken from nikon d7000):

Flicker reduction function reduces the flicker effect that might occur under fluorescent or mercury vapor lighting while using Live View or D-Movie. You can select 50Hz or 60Hz, according to the local power frequency where you are shooting.

I guess the iso noise should be pretty non existent compared to the k-7's video.

Stereo Mic recommendation.
We recommend the following types.
* Type: Electret stereo plug - Impedance: 2.2kΩ
Power supply: 2.0V operation guaranteed by Plug: stereo mini (φ3.5mm)
How much does a mic like this go for?

That's no safe bet.
K-x has more noise in video than K-7.

The RAW button now is a multi-purpose button. It can be programmed to do things other than selecting the RAW format. "Exposure bracketing" is one of the options.
This is going part of the way towards implementing the Soft Button I have long been calling for. The programmable Green button on the K-x likewise. Now we need a Soft Switch and a Soft Menu too. That way people could have their bracketing, multi-exposure or SR on a switch.

I very much doubt it, Just like my first remark, you must never forget that a sealed kit is competely unsealed when you are switching lenses.
Moral: Never change lenses underwater.

The RØDE VideoMic is $150. For details on all the options you should really read my article Capturing Sound For Video.

Exactly my thought. They put some grease on the camera ? The plastic looks horrid...
Or they overly contrasted the images sky high...

It is on the other side of the K-5 (and this is the same on the K-7).
Took me ages to find it on K-7. And when I finally found it I could not find my remote...

I think Pentax listened to the customers....

Ofcours e not all was solved but it seemd the vast majority was whining over High iso and AF performance...
Dual SD slot was only"demanded"when rumors said it might be in K-5.
Thetering was sometimes asked for, but not by many. Buffer? After high Iso and Af more fps was most demanded. Well, we have that now so it seems but at a cost.

A decent ranged WR zoomlens would also be appreciated, we have that now.

Only frequently asked items left are (IMHO):
a long * tele (not by me by the way)
a wide fast * or WR prime (demanded by me)
WR flash (not demanded by me)

The things now mentioned as missing were not in such a great demand as the items I mentioned.

One thing they should bring out next is a cheaper WR body, like K-r(WR) or K300D as that would attract a new crowd as now there are no sub usd 1000 sealed bodies in combination with a sub usd 500 (in kit) sealed zoomlens

Albeit, the official site is a bit confusing but you need to read more carefully, the specifications state quite clearly:

Auto: ISO 100-12800 (1, 1/2, 1/3 steps), expandable to ISO 80-51200, Bulb mode up to ISO 1600, auto ISO range selectable Manual: 100-12800 (1, 1/2, 1/3 steps), expandable to ISO 80-51200, Bulb mode up to ISO 1600

Pentax should add brackets stating "auto mode" when showing:
* ISO 80-12800, 6-7 FPS
Earlier yesterday, pentaximaging.com (and pentaxdslr.com) was clearly showing ISO 100-6400, expandable to 12800. I should have taken a screenshot...

BTW, pentax.de still lists the base range as 200-12800. I tend to believe the specs on pentax.jp as definitive.

C'mon guys, you're photographers, or so I hope

Do you want something that implies
Just another boring DSLR
Or something that screams

Different

This camera is seeming more appealing the more I understand about it
