10 Euros? Whell... in that case, "Pentax is doomed"...

Otherwise, I'll add... I consulted with "the boss" [aka Mrs. M8o] and got the 'ok' to purchase my very own K-5 too! I usually only purchase major things like this until after having read many user and pro reviews, and in case of cameras reviews having numerous comparo shots. But I'm 99% sure I won't be doing so in this case. ...wish me luck!

Yeah, I saw the same thing you did. Probably someone who bought it at the lower price and selling it to make a couple hundred bucks during the first couple days of availability.

There's now three raving over it.

Any european delivery dates?
Nope, nothing yet, usually a few weeks after first asian deliveries, so that would be somewhere in the first half of november, with 18-135 second half I guess.

Well, then shoot something under the desk, we're only interested in the high ISO shots anyway

I love my new K5, but I don't think it's fair to say that it can kick the D700 so easily.

My hope was that it would be in the same ballpark, which I think in many respects it is.

=================================

Have you done any video yet with your K5? Is there any machine background noise when recording video recorded onto the video sound like the K5 and K-x do?

I actually haven't tried the video on the K5 yet so I couldn't say. I do know what you mean about the noise as I recall hearing it the couple times I tried video on the K7 and Kx, so I can check that later tonight for you.
