On this one I agree with you. Pentax cancels the three best lenses they make and they offer a cheap plastic zoom. It looks like unless you are in the 645D category Pentax is no longer a good fit for prime lens users. Canceling the FA Limiteds was the final straw for me. I had saved diligently for the last 12 months and was going to purchase all three to compliment the DA 15-70mm I own.
On the plus side for you guys, I will be listing the DA's in the for sale forum in the next two-three weeks + about 10 SMC A's and SMC M's + 2 Voigtlanders (warning I will only sell them in lots because I just don't have time to run back and forth to the Post Office). I need to wait until the Sony stuff I ordered shows up and figure out which M's I want to keep to use with my E-P2. Sadly now I have to save more to afford the really expense Sony prime lenses....
Those things aren't cheap.
I'm staring out with the "easy choice line-up" + the 20mm. They are cheap and plastic but at least they are prime lenses Then I guess I can add one a year of their better lenses.
