Sitting in the Phitokina shuttle connecting the halls...

Wanted to add briefly that I am going to see the K- 5 which is incoming to Cologne. Should arrive every minute for the booth....

Have fun, Falk! Please don't forget to ask them "out of their trousers" regarding the new AF. Must be great to be there right now!

Falk, thank you very much for doing this.

Could you do all of us here a big favor:

1. confirm the Buffer Size and if its true it can only hold 8 RAW?

2. can you take a shot with both Lens Corrections settings on and see if it processes any faster?

3. can we control when to light up the top LCD, and not have it light up automatically after every reading.

This one makes all rummors and "releases"doubtfull

The press kit is full of errors and I'll have to verify a number of other details first. E.g., I doubt that the camera ships since June 2009
So we cannot be sure of anything, both official and unofficial, we have seen so far

I for one am very interested in the new lens. Can you have an eye (and ear) on its AF speed and noise?

The price certainly sets high expecations.

EDIT: Oh, and anything pertaining video, of course.

I'd be interested to learn how well LV supports MF. Does the new video resolution imply improved MF precision when using LV?

and just to add to the barrage of questions, Does the K-5 still have the "crippled" KAF Lens mount?
