IR Simple

is not included on the "flagship". This is a bit surprising. I thought this was a nifty feature on the Kr.
Can long exposure NR (dark-frame subtraction) disabled, especially in Bulb mode?
Is the built-in flash capable of HSS?
Re. the auto (2,3,5)-exp bracket - can this be done at 7fps with the mirror-up?

I will definitely look this camera over once it's on shelf locally.

Yes, I thought IR Simple might form the basis for enhanced (multi-channel?) wireless flash control in future Pentax flashes....

It could be in Custom Function, just like the ISO option of 51200, BUT true, SPECS DID Say NO IR Simple. Could be a later firm ware upgrade, but i myself can't see why Pentax would put it in K-r and not in K-5 too, doesn't make sense!
