Does Dave R. know about exposure control in video mode?

Full manual? Shutter priority, aperture priority?

Or at least the ability to lock the shutter to 1/48 or 1/60?

It took me 15 mins to get one answer off him .. I gave up after that.

I think he was chatting up the secretary at corporate.

No AF in video?

Who cares, the 5D Mk2 has no AF in video and they used that as a professional camera to make an episode of House with.

Next....!

If Pentax came out with a DSLR with the same specs as the Canon 5D Mk2 I would buy it today.

Perhaps they will develop their medium format sensor to produce video down the road.
That could be nifty...

Why ? Would any of the 24 million FF K mount lenses work on the 645D ?

The quality would be mind blowing.
On the other side of the coin it wouldn't take much to blow away the competition on that front(certainly not 24 million lenses ).

Yes, THEY being the operative word.

I'm pretty sure one person with a 5D MKII couldn't make an episode of house on his own. People seem to forget a full professional film crew were used when bringing this fact out time after time.

I'm kind of surprised that the K-5 does not feature AF in video mode (like the D7000). How difficult is it to implement video AF?
