You want all this from a company that sticks 2 employees in a broom cupboard and then tells them to make a video about their new flagship camera while giving them all the wrong specifications.
I understand that Microsoft and Hoya have the same recruitment company; They send all the engineers to Pentax and all the marketing people to Microsoft

Wow, those are amazing shots, the K-5 seems to perform very well, even at 12.800... But it is still firmware 0.2, so I will wait for official results from a production K-5 ;-)

Yes, that's really amazing. I noticed (from Google translate of the page) that the K-7 shot was in bright mode, but couldn't find anything about this from the K-5 shot, maybe that explains some of the lack of color nuances in the K-7 shot.

But look at the detail in that crop! Really amazing. Looking at this, I would expect ISO 25600 to be at least as good as 6400 on the K-7. 12800 certainly is better than 1600 on my K10D.

Noise aside, the dynamic range is so much better on the K-5 samples!

Yeah, I did too, just after the K-r was announced. Haven't heard anything back yet.

Could you please also ask them to let you do the official introduction video for the next Pentax camera?

The effort for the K-5 doesn't quite cut the mustard...
Ha ha ha, I've actually been contemplating adding some video content to Enticing the Light and was wondering if I could come up with something better than that video. I can't guarantee I would!
