Pentax Canada News Releases K5 and K-r

Attached are Press Releases from Pentax Canada for the K5 and the K-r that I received this morning. Yesterday I checked their website and found nothing so I wrote to them and they responded with these Press Releases.

They also indicate that they are currently updating their website to include the new releases

Those updates could be a while.

When I clicked on "Products > Digital Cameras" the K20D comes up as the featured camera. No joke!

When I wrote to them yesterday I told them that they need to take some leadership. I also noted the K20d as their headline camera. Considering that Pentax is readily available in most areas of Canada I think Pentax Canada has dropped the ball on promoting its products. I can only imagine if they really promoted their products. In the past they had large bill boards on display just outside of Victoria. Haven't seen them for quite some time.

Maybe this is a silly question but...whats up with all in-camera photo personalization and what not? Does anybody use these functions??

If you are referring to adding your name and copy-rite information I feel that is important. I add it when I download from my K10d to Photoshop, but would prefer it being embedded into the photo when it is taken.
