But it could also be ISO 51k. Since the 51k was a last minute change it's quite possible that they haven't had the time to decide on how to best (amount and type of NR) push the rawfile just yet. Not a big problem though, merely glue the doors shut and no one will ever know...

I made some pictueres with the 645 with 1000asa.
Great...looks like K-7 with 200asa.

I had the chance on wednesday to try the 645D. Took some shots at iso-1000 didn't change this.

Yes, if the K-5's new sensor had made that image, i would be more than a little impressed, but the 40Mp 645d struts it's stuff, the images are great and the detail and depth are obvious. I can usually see the same distinction of finer grain and more resolution (even in scaled down images) with full frame, but i think i just fell in love with medium format stuff...

K-7 with a better sensor = 645d....

The 645D's high ISO performance is quite spectacular given the price. Most low-end MFDB systems can't manage any decent shots over ISO 400, but these images and others like them are convincing me that this might be my ticket to medium format digital.

Hopefully I will be able to get some hands-on time at PhotoPlus later this month.
