Kinda cool little commercial. Would like to see it on TV, then I'll start to gain faith in Pentax marketing.

that's a nice clip! Even the music is good, melodic and easy to listen. you probably don't hate the song when you hear it 100 times

there is more marketing than just a nicely done web clip; Pentax needs to jump on more opportunities to advertise their products, Red Carpet events, go to L.A., with all the color choices on the K-r and its performance, it's definitely a hippie camera must to have... The list goes on and on...

a hint, Seal is a huge fan of Lecia, and he is somewhat a spokesperson for Lecia as well... What can we do, Pentax? how about hire me lol?!?!?!

IMO the products they've released are great. If they followed the K-5 up with a K-3 and a K-1 fullframe, then they'd really start picking up steam!

Well Pentax Europe is marketing. US marketing and preview videos are a joke.

This video here, now thats a really nice classy way to marketing a camera. Its simple but doesn't let the specs get in the way of the message.

It shows to me, what I find fun and enjoyable with my cameras. This guy is just out capturing moments and having a good time. This is how it should be.

I agree the actor is dopey-looking, and the production quality is not the highest in general, but it´s good. I´m glad to see that Pentax might have realised that marketing is an investment.

I was beginning to think that the phrase Pentax marketing was an oxymoron. The video is a good summary (missed a trick in not showing the red focus point indication).

But "Pix your life"

tag makes my skin crawl. What would be so wrong with using "Capture"?

either pentax sponsors the said events or recruits those who already have access to those events to spread brand awareness.
