Guess what I saw in Sam's club today in Albuquerque???

This is the first time I have ever seen a Pentax in big box store. I know it's only one and it's a K2000, but I was shocked!! Maybe a sign of things to come? I hope so, but I'm not betting on it.

I like how it says "Please take one" like they're just desperate to get rid of it.

A K2000??? I was hoping you found a crate of 645Ds!

Not that I could afford one.

Looks like the box is a little the worse for the wear. Must have been in the stockroom bouncing around for awhile.

What I notice at Costco is sometimes with small and expensive items, thay just display the emtied box of the item, then there are quite a few of PLEASE TAKE ONE "tickets" like in the pic above . When a customer wants to buy the item, just take a ticket and go pay at cashier, then go to pick up the item at the "Merchandise Pickup" window .

I think Sam's Club does the same as Costco .

It was empty. You had to take the paper to the desk to get it.

Well, it's still a NEW camera, just an older model, and $400 for a brand new DSLR and lens isn't bad at all....
