My school back in Thailand recommended Casio, not TI.

I was so geeky that I would calculate 69! and see how long it would took. It would take seconds on those old things. Still amazing. And what fun spelling things out upside down!

You know what Pentax should make? A modern, digital school camera, a K1000 for the 21st century.

FF (for big VF) and a really good split focus screen. Some kind of advanced light metering system, maybe an overlayed see throuh histogram in the viewfinder. Three wheels(!), one back and two front, where you control Time, Aperture and Sensitivity.

No AF, no modes. Maybe the Green button for getting a good starting point.

I bet they could sell some of these to photo schools all over the world. And I would be interested in getting one myself for M42s and other MF lenses.
