K prices UK

Hi there,

with all the negative press about Pentax being suddenly expensive here are some net prices I have found from a very reputable UK stock dealer

kx £349 body only
kr £550 with 18-55
k7 £699 body only
k5 £1040 body only

these last two are still pre release price so I expect to see £999 k5 before christmas.

Seems pretty good to me, why all the long faces?

As soon as the K-5 drops to around £800 to £850 I'm getting one.

Seems a little dear, particularly the K-r I've used Warehouse Express - Pentax Shop: Optio Digital Cameras, K-7, K-5, Kr and K-x Digital SLRs, Pentax Accessories
must say their Pentax section is really spruced up.

Here is a place I used when I lived in the UK.
Prices include 3 year warranty, 8GB SD card and Samsonite camera holster/case

Hey don't apologise. £1040 inc VAT for the K-5, that's more money saved! Looking forward to trying one tomorrow at SRS... they've still not announced their pricing so here's hoping.

there is a caveat on the website about some scammers hijacking the shops old website. I can vouch for the real shop as they are a real brick and mortar shop a mile from where i live (and no i aint an employee!!!!
