He he... you should put a note, "You must be willing to pay for what you wish". Otherwise we'll all line up, daydreaming

i hoped that the guys would be ok with 5 possibilities , but nevertheless, i wanted to show what seems to be "most" important and well one or two days, or even more and we might get the 100 ppl, but the more, the better ^^
This thread was not meant to "threaten" Pentax in any way, it shall more be like en encouragement, what would be appreciated more than others things, and take a look, an "easy" Roadmap would be very nice to a bunch of guys.

I really don't get the crippling of the K mount. The mechanism of opening and closing diaphragm is there, I don't know how they read the value in film cameras, but it shouldn't be hard to figure out how to make it again. Anyway, this is why it rocks:
* automatic metering is faster and more up-to-date (fast changing lighting);
* stop down is inaccurate in dark, at least on my K100D in dark room at f/22 it gives 1,5 sec., when 20 sec. would be correct;
* changing the aperture ring is faster than the wheel in aperture priority mode.

What can I say, I want a lot
And I'm saving for the D3s (or d700 replacement with grip) and lenses since I know Pentax won't make one like it (or anything even close)

An autofocus f/1.2 would be nice.

Plus:

* GPS tagging (no, I cannot necessarily remember which country road I was on or bridge I was going under or street I was in). In fact, none of these may have been marked in the first place.

* More WR, perhaps 70-200mm, even at f/4. Best bet: 55-300mm WR. Not sealed, just WR. Worth USD $600-$700. To me.

* Auto correction spell checker for this forum. Realy. That doesn't depend on manuel changes.

+1000 :-}

Nikon decided to let their users with classic glass use it with full automatic metering with the D7000 (they have this feature on certain other high-end models as well)- Pentax should treat users investing in their top of the line body with the same respect, and not force them to buy new lenses if they have lenses that do the job. I think they would sell more lenses if they re-introduced the mechanical coupling for non-A manual lenses: people would be able to sample the great value in Pentax glass by trying out the manual lenses and then would see just how great Pentax glass is!

You are REALLY correct on needing a spell checker....

And who is Manuel? Is he the one who does MANUAL changes to the forum?

Apparently he's the one manipulating the video controls in the third choice in the poll

SDXC has one problem - high price. And the support of SDXC could be easy made by firmware.
Change "Dual SDXC-Slots" to "Dual SD/SDHC/SDXC-Slots"

I checked tethering. But I would like to be more specific - tethering in Lightroom with immediate file download to PC.

This really is a Virtual Marque!

Strange figures, more members would be happier with a PDF of new lenses rather than actual lenses
