I think it should be at B&H very soon.

At Amazon, the kit is now in stock and the body listing has been updated to show it will be in stock on 11/1.

I spoke with B&H today, and it looks like they didn't get the K-5 shipment as expected. Only two backordered kits came in, and there now gone.

They did get the K-r, though, so check that out: Pentax K r and DA 35mm available at BH Photo - Pentax News & Rumors - PentaxForums.com

No ETA for the K-5 yet, although they said they'd be surprised if it's not in by the end of the next week. Also, we think that the kits will be in before the bodies, so you might be out of luck if you're just pre-ordered a body.

I spoke to one of the Pentax Reps at the PDN/Photo Plus Expo in NYC today and he told me that B&H was shipped 50 K-5 bodies. FYI

Just placed my order with B&H and cancelled my standing order at Adorama just now. Supposed to deliver on 11-4. Had to pay for it with Bill-Me-Later as I am going to pay it off with IRA mandatory withdrawal after the first of the year. Too much money but I am getting old and need all the time I can get just to learn how to operate it. Ha!

Having them in stock is really tempting! Amazon now shows that body only will be in on Halloween and the kits are in stock now. I am really antsy to buy since I have a wedding on November 13. I keep holding off because of the price drop rumors and rebate rumors. Plus, I shot 10 other weddings this season with the K20, so I don't NEED the K5... it is just more of a want thing. I would love to be able to just fudge the difference with the husband, but he does the taxes and he will need the bill as a business expense write-off. At least with more of them appear in different places I can stop obsessively checking Amazon on my phone.
