This is much more presentable. Glad Pentax decided to spend more than a bag of Cheetos for the production of this video.

Progress. But while it's not the broom cupboard, it's still very 'home-studio'.

Very nice video and I note that it was shot using a K5 as well.

"Obviously it's a very big camera..."

...for PENTAX, yes. For Canon and Nikon, it's about normal...

Maybe Pentax's fortunes are looking up, and Ned splurged and went and bought, like, a hundred brooms. And they couldn't fit any more interns in the cupboard to present the videos.

It's a step in the right direction. They gotta watch the red clipping/saturation though. Is Pentax especially bad at render the red channel, or do all cameras have this much trouble with reddish-orange?

Thanks for the link, good view.

I also came by this one. For a medium format cam, they sure put it through some rugged terrain :

I do not know, if it is something special in video.
But generally the K5 should be better than Eos 5D Mark II, in this regard :

"I received my K-5 today, along with the 16-50mm f/2.8 and 50-135mm f/2.8. First, a couple of impressions from a Canon shooter (5D Mark II):

• Color - Based on what I've seen, the rendition of color on the K-5 is more natural than on the Canon. The K-5 also handles reds and yellows much better. Shooting a red rose, even in cloudy conditions, on the 5D Mark II has a tendency to blow out the red channel. In the past, I've had to dial exposure compensation way down, and been very careful in how I shoot red and yellow flowers. Shooting the K-5 today, it was nice not to have to worry about this. The metering was pretty effective in most scenes, though it does seem to underexpose by about a third of a stop in some situations."
