Digital Rev D7000 vs. K-5 article

"Nikon D7000 vs. Pentax K-5 - Why the K-5 is worth a serious look for D7000 buyers?"

Nikon D7000 vs. Pentax K-5 - Why the K-5 is worth a serious look for D7000 buyers? - DigitalRev.com

(The question mark at the end of a statement was not my doing!).

The rest of the article matches the terrible writing of the title. It's not worth the waste of time reading this one, even though it's very short...

Yep pretty poor read there. Counter point summary is pretty typical of most tech sites when it comes to digital camera reviews - they can talk all day about the tech, but know next to nothing abot actual cameras.

That would not be too terrible provided they could at least write in acceptable English

This is a gadget review, not a photographer's review.

Even if, as the page reports, he takes photos. That's quite a different subject.

How can you say that when that's pretty much exactly what everyone has been doing on this forum since the K-5 DxO figures were released.

Don't read this article.
Your life time is too short to do so.

I love how obviously uniformed the person is, not making mention of the fact that buffer depth and sdxc support will change via upcoming firmware update...

what happened to the guy who reviewed the K20D...but i get the sneaking suspicion that its their attempt to get Pentax to give them a K5 to review.

Sure the article is crap...

But the K-5 is getting mentioned allong with the D7000.

2 years ago, the article would have been Canon vs Nikon.

At least those considering the D7000 will stumble on the fact that Pentax builds a comparable body.

The problem is that most of these "tech" writers know nothing about Pentax, and really are not good at showing the stregnths of Pentax.

Pity the poor 60D that gets no coverage at all...
