Great deal on the K-5 and other cameras (if you also need a printer)

Adorama has an epson rebate posted on their site- including on the K-5 page. You get $450 back when you buy a $500 printer along with a camera.

I'm seriously considering buying and then selling the printer. If you sell it for 1/2 price your basically getting $200 off the K-5.

Here is the form: http://www.adorama.com/pdfs/rebates/epson_R1900_CPN.pdf

Also at B & H so it's likely an across the board Epson rebate. If I wasn't so bummed with my R1800 I'd consider it (though the 1900 does get good reviews and seems to be free of the 1800 issues)

well, the printer is $499, so you're getting the printer for $50 after rebate. Then you have deal with selling the printer. So yeah, you might save $200 or more after all is said and done, but...that's a lot of IF's and a bit of work.

For a while Canon had a similar offer when you purchased one of their printers and DSLRs. I think Craigslist and eBay ended up getting flooded with the printers and most had a hard time selling them. Originally, I think people were banking on the fact that they could get 50-75% of the printer's original price. But, if you can manage to sell the printer, then it's not a bad deal.
