I seen what you mean - its listed as a 3.5-5.6 in the advertisement but its still the same 4-5.6 lens that is, I believe, the same model that has been in the kits for some time. I have a DAL55-30 that came with my K-x and which receives fairly high marks in the reviews here:

The photo at Amazon clearly shows that its the same model. The description is therefore a typo:

The 3.5-5.6 lens is the 18-55mm as seen in the above photo from Amazon's site.
