Well the hour is getting late and Pentax needs to show folks they are still in the running. C and N have hit the road with major camera innovations and I would like to see at least a "hint" that something big is in the works for P.

I have been holding off buying the 16-50mm and the 50-135mm as I want to see where P is going with there dslrs in the near future.

I will be shooting my catalog next week and will use the K10D, but would love to have some other features (movable lcd, wireless, etc, etc). I would love better high iso for stage stuff also.

I will sit back and wait, I hope I'm smiling near the end of Oct.

Should be new camera ?? and not !!....

And this is no news so this should be the wrong forum. And no current dslr has a movable lcd... but you can buy a zigview if thats what you want

I thought that the new Panasonic and the next Olympus have one

From my perspective larger and/or movable LCD means fragile.

Well now, it's Oct 3rd and still nothing, we have just a few more days till the Paris show to see if P has something cooking.

Started shooting my catalog stuff, could sure use live view or better yet, a movable LCD in the future. Would like to see P get strong enough so when third party breakthrough software is announced Pentax is included, tired of seeing Nikon and just about every Canon included.

Pentax.......lets get moving !!!!
