Pentax should replace the DA 14mm f2.8 with a DA* 11mm F2.8 and replace the 12-24 with DA * 12-35mm

DA*11 F2.8 would be nice. a DA*12-35 is a little bit not wide enough. and overlaps with the DA*16-50 too much. I would rather see a DA*8-16 to match up with the DA*16-50, DA*50-135 and hopefully sometime a DA*135-300

11mm would be nice, but 12mm would be not wide enough? Some gaps are nice in lenses. I don't like having them right up against each other. I'd rather have a 12-35 on one body and 50-135 on another, than 16-50 and 50-135.

There are rumours about 17.5 Fisheye. So, it looks like a FF (smart move, the APS-C DSLRs have no future, mirrorless cams will eliminate them).

This has been said for years (that APSC have no future) yet, Canon has released a pro-level APSC (the 7D) continue doing it 1D & 1Ds line in APS-H and we are still waiting for the next FF generation.

APSC is good enough for many usages and still have some advantages over FF, mainly compactness.

I don't see why APSC is condemn even on the long term while it still hold the majority of the market.

It's just canon, not god
They want the market will be the same forever, but it won't. The things are changing, mirrorless cams will exclude APS-C DSLRs soon. BTW mirroless are more compact than "compact" APS-C DSLRs if you haven't noticed it yet
As for me, I have advised 3 people already to get samsung nx instead of pentax: better quality control, more compact, better optics, clear roadmap

I'd also be happy with the Tokina 11-16 (however unlikely) at USD $600-$750. In fact, I'd be happy enough to buy it the moment it would become available. Sigh .....

11 mm for a prime seems like a big enough gap from the 14/15 primes that Pentax already has, but a 10/28 would be better. For a zoom something a little wider would be better. a DA*8-16 would be just right.
