Finally! I knewit wouldn't be long before this would be found. Now all we need to do, is check its validity somehow...

It is a photoshopped K10D based on a patent drawing of the *istD!
Nothing to do with reality...

Yes, you're right.

This purely speculated and imagined rumour was a joke from the beginning:

RiceHigh's Pentax Blog: Un-substantiated Rumours on Upmarket Pentax DSLR

Still, the creator yetl photoshopped this *ist D+K10D image lately to let people think that the K20D look like this. Funny but sad. It's really silly to mislead others like that.

Btw, I believe the true pictures of the K20D will leak soon, just like the K200D's case.

Yep. For one thing, the SR switch is supposed to be way different than the K10D. Something about it being too easy to switch off accidently (which personally find hard to believe...).

Look closely at the buttons that have been added, then look at the AE-L button, notice the difference. If not, the AE-L button has an edge, the three on top don't they blend into the camera body.

That row of 3 identical green buttons make no sense ergonomically. It would be too confusing. I doubt that Pentax designers would do something so counterintuitive. Even Canon engineers are smart enough to individually label the row of identical little buttons found on some of their cameras.

I would be willing to bet the price of a K20D that this is NOT a valid image.

cheers,

And if all the features are implemented, it would have AF and metering while using Live View!
Isn´t that what Nikon has in the D300? or do they only have AF. Hopefully the speed of contrast AF is usable not only for static objects.

I wouldn't count on it. Contrast AF is used by P&S and hum... it sucks.

I would love to see the specs leaked before the pic. But I can wait and hope there will be no supply problem with the camera.

It has advantages and disadvantages. Having several million focus points is good, for example. And that in turn lets you do better object tracking and other fancy tricks.

I do not trust any picture of the new cams until Pentax show me.
Until then we can guess which color will the new cams be. I guess Pentax red.
