Yes... it is shown now. Front view only. when i saw it is 3 views.
Photorumors say 2 color but somebody told me its 3 (red).

-14.0 mp
- Full HD
- The system will be called "Q" (of James Bond)
- On the upper left (view looking aft) it is the mode dial.
- New Sensor

At the moment its only this one. Like i said those 2 buttons are the prominent thing you'll remember when you see it for the first time.
They can put BSI CMOS sensor and RAW, it will be not much worse than CCD 1/1.7". IMO.

Well first of all, it's obvious that the captions associated with the lenses are total BS. Anyone can see that the two pictures are exactly the same.

As for the picture of the lens on the camera itself, assuming it's real, the only thing relatively clear is the 1.9 aperture. Whatever number is next to that, it sure doesn't look like any 8 I've ever seen (looks more like a 4). Also, I'm pretty sure the filter size (at the bottom) says 4x mm (49?). If that's the case, that would put the cross-sectional size of this camera about the same as an entry level DSLR, and bigger than many m4/3. What kind of compact camera with a tiny sensor would be bigger than m4/3 (not to mention a lens that big)?

Even if the picture were real, I still call the 1/2.33" sensor rumor total nonsense.

there will be TWO system - one is very small and for marginal markets like Japan.
the second is APS-C EVIL for world-wide.

I was talking about this image, for which the captions imply a tiny sensor. It's obvious that the captions are BS.

It's P&S market. I thought about such idea yesterday...
Full HD video with small fixed lens is not bad. Tiny camera with tiny lens for Full HD video is good idea.

I don't care about such camera, but...Japanese could like it...in 3 different colours of body.
Don't take this Q system too seriously...It's fun and toy camera. And it's good for Pentax image.

Even if its targeted directly to the P&S market, I still don't get it.
Those two lenses are almost covered if you buy a Canon S90 or Oly XZ-1 without the trouble with changing lenses. And you also get a bigger sensor in those cameras.

Can do. Have fun:

Yes...But...S90 and XZ-1 has no 8.5/1.9 lens.

It's what many have foreseen since the beginning of the year. A digital Auto110. It's not similar in design, probabily it will not be compatible with those old lenses, but it's directed to the same market. A toy DSRL, with modest IQ (as it was for 110 film), able to sit in the palm of your hand. And it makes movie too.

Actually, let's make this a little bit more interesting:

True, but the XZ-1 has a 1.8-2.5 aperture in the equivalent 28-112mm range. I'd say @47mm the XZ-1 has about f/2.0, very close to the fixed lens rumored here.

And with the larger 1/1.63" sensor, you would also get thinner dof if that is desired.

...and better high ISO performance, so really, f/1.9 on a smaller sensor is worse than f/2 on a bigger sensor any way you slice it.

I think anyone doubting the motives of the small camera should take into account this picture and it should put things into perspective.
It is what it is, a tiny interchangeable lens camera. I was hoping for a larger sensor. But when you look at the BSI CMOS on the Samsung TL350/WB2000 from a 1/2.5 sensor then you begin to understand that its not all bad.
RAW support, SR, small,

And there are other mirrorless cameras from pentax in the works.

Hmmm... I didn't think to scale by hot shoe size. That looks a little more reasonably sized than my estimates.

Still pointless, though. If you really care that much about size and "style", the Optio I-10 is ultra tiny, looks almost exactly like the Auto 110 and uses a 1/2.3" sensor. People apparently loved the design, hated the sensor. If Pentax has access to a much better sensor for this "NC-1", stick it in the Optio I-20, cash in on the people who care about style but not IQ, and save precious R&D and manufacturing resources.
