Dangitt - I swore I wasn't going to get April fooled but I think I was on like page 23 of this thread before I finally noticed the 2007 date. Excuse me, I need to go release a little "energy." I think I'll take a picture with my K10D then blow it up.

I wanted to participate simply because what's allowed to be stated IS TRUE. Feel free to look up my posts. I've never participated in rumor threads. Personally I would rather know this much information instead of pure conjecture.

You can read my post again if you like - I clearly stated I am under a non-disclosure agreement with Pentax USA. If I disclosed it, then I am violating the conditions of getting the information in advance. This mean I CANNOT post the specifics on any web site. I do not understand how I can be any clearer than this.

It seemed to me it was a thread about upcoming Full Frame K Mount.
Was Full Frame K Mount set to launch some 26 months ago and then Hoya killed it ?
Or was it about 645D being ready to launch and Hoya killed it?

Nothing really happened you know, just K20D emerged with a Samsung made Sensor instead of a Sony Sensor.


Will the 18.2 mp K30D you've mentioned use a Sony made sensor or another Samsung made sensor ?
I don't think either company, Sony or Samsung, offers a 18mp aps-c sensor.
I wonder who'll supply this 18mp APS-C Sensor to Hoya?

Samsung's first APS-C Sensor installed in a K10D body and logo'd as K20D

I wasn't sure that after all the complaints that have landed on my plate, that I should dump this on you...I will only announce this on this Site...Promise. But come January Pentax are going to drop a very beautiful yet potent bomb on the DSL industry. Yes HOYA are definately behind Pentax and no I am not speculating. I should say "several bombs"..Oh, and I will be speaking at the press conference in Paris for the event...
