The fact that something can be done, doesn't mean it should be done.

Because we all know the market needs another austere black camera.

Be careful here. Let's not impose out values on others.

I know at least 5 people who would probably buy that just because it is so damn ugly and anti-establishment.

OK, forget all that. I agree.

It's a little understated for my tastes....

Only Japan can have such extremes of aesthetics, liking both such clean minimalism and such, well, bold loudness.

I think it's pretty damn ugly too, but I have no doubt that they'll sell out all 100 units they're making in this style in record time (the singer apparently has a lot of fans), and gain some press in the bargain.

Ahmm, err.., gulp--, did they forget that the flash needs working on?

whatever floats peoples cam./boat i guess. Well, its a fact, none of us folks that remember using a film camera, or still are, are getting any younger. If it helps convince the young ones that are out shooting the bar scene, then i guess thats a good move.

but pink, OMG

i'll never get Japanese culture, but i totally see this selling out quick. I would rather have had the robot myself. but stuff like this is helping them big time in the home market so i can't complain
i personally am waiting for the robot 645D for that i might even sell my car just to see peoples faces when i use it

I don't get why everyone's so concerned with how a camera looks versus how it functions? It's like people obsessed over their cars look versus does it run well, do what you want, etc? Sure we have to look at it, but when we are using it we look into it most of the time and don't see the body so much....especially true with a car.

That being said...I'll stick to my black body thanks. LOL
