Can't you already use some tripod release plates as bottle openers when they're screwed onto the camera? Nothing new here.

It must be a new grip, with an adjustable windshield wiper that can be configured to work with all DA* and WR lenses.
And the second possibility is that, this whole thing is nothing but a trap, getting people to come up with cool ideas for new marketing items, for free.

I kindly invite you to read more on the issue and report back on your findings.
It's now (a bunch of) years after leaving the classroom and I'm still being told that the exercise is left to the student!

Fortunately, I rather like that approach - which may explain why I'm still employed in technology after all those years.

Thanks yet again, Falk.

ah the definition of viral marketing, and it will probably be very very unimpressive.

Somebody actually did an amazingly good job to reconstruct the logo:

As found in nikonrumors.com.

"Aletta Photographic" sold wodden camera kits and ground glass engravements or something similiar (the ebay store is gone).

So, I add some fancy focus screens for the K-7/K-5 to the list of things Yvon could have fabricated He said on his blog it needed technical drawings.

Hi, I feel your emotion but you read what I didn't write.

I meant it the way I wrote it: I am curious to learn more about it as what I wrote is about all I know about the guys. So, I kindly invite anybody interested to further investigate the topic. I am sure there's more to it. I am as much student as you are.

Heres a quote from his entry today-
QuoteQuote:
All the speculations thus far are not what we have developed at this time. We can hardly wait to tell you all about it, but we need the final product in our hands first. Some will like it and some won't.

You know, some people are disappointed when any new camera or accessory is announced if it's not a game changer, and there cannot be game changers every time.

I think our item will be of particular interest for travel photographers, wildlife photographers, landscape photographers but can be useful for all kind of photography. Actually, studio photographers may not have much of a need for it.
We are supposed to get our finished demo product Monday. If all works as intended, we should be able to release the product shortly thereafter.
Sounds to me like a grip/add-on with built in GPS.
Meh, not my thing.:ugh:

Again, I don't expect anything with electronics in it. I'm still leaning towards a bag/eveready case sort of thing. You won't need such thing in a studio of course...
