I'm sure someone already said this but maybe its a grip with space so you can store extra memory cards, filters and batteries o even small lenses so you don't have to carry a big bag with you

It's occurred to me that a light shade of some sort would be of benefit to outdoors photographers and not so much to studio users. Something for the rear LCD?

That explains why you would take the time to post about it, I suppose...

Could come in handy as my car only has a couple of "lens holders"

No, I reckon it's an adjustable Bellows Sunshade for wide angle to standard lenses. Is camera specific because it needs to fit securely to base plate.

Vic.

The guy talks about precision CNC and generally metal fabricating techniques.
My guess is some kind of video handling grip like the Letus Talon K1.

I think I've figured it out. Its got to be some sort of a quick changing device that let's you mount, for instance, 3 lenses to it and it will let you quick switch to different lenses with ease. It says glass as "not yet" because you'll have to supply ur own. Its for travelers because it allows you to carry various lenses at a time. And since its only for k5/7 its probably going to attach itself like a glove on the body somehow...or another thing would be an accessory that has 3 kmount slots that you can easily store you lenses on and carry them around with ease...

What is it?
I'm not sure but I bet it's gonna be BIG.

I mean REALLY BIG. Like so big that it will make other things seem small by comparison.

Oh yeah, and it's gonna be really important. So important that other things will seem unimportant by comparison.

Just wait and see. It's so real you can almost smell it.

Trust me. I drive a pick-up.

I love the changer idea - well - my Black and Decker drill changer can change bits on the fly - why doesnt my camera change lenses the came way? I prefer a 8-lens changer.

It'd be like walking around with one of those old movie cameras with multiple lenses on the front.
