Pentax starts teasing new camera?

Hey everyone, hope I'm not reposting but yeah, looks like exciting times ahead for us Pentaxians!

A camera covered in a cloth was shown at a convention in China, though noone's sure if it's symbolic or if there's really something there!

I'm not posting the photo here (in case of copyright etc though mods/admin feel free to put it in if you think its ok)

Any Chinese forum members able to read whats on the sign next to the covered camera?

By the way, I'm dreaming of fullframe... lol but seriously I hope Pentax's mirrorless solution will allow full use of current K-mount lenses, don't want to see the limiteds go to waste!

I don't think it is one camera under that cover, could be a display box for the whole mirrorless camera system.

hmmm mirrorles MF.
You don't need speed for sports or car races, and back LCD is better for landscape and studio also macro work.
Damn ppl how nobody before didn't have this idea ??

What is the point of announcing they are going to announce 2 new cameras? Do they think it's going to make people dreaming of full frame stick with the brand a little longer?
"the new product is suppose to be ”more important” than a regular point and shoot camera." That doesn't take much, point & shoots are a dime a dozen.

I wish the photo were not so blown out, and maybe had something in the frame to show scale, another camera, cigarettes, a pen, anything. Without a point of reference this thing could be very small or fairly large.

The rumors of the small sensor mirror-less are pretty uninteresting. m4/3 is as small as I would consider and honestly I doubt I would go that small.

If they want to compete in the same league as the G12... why not go with the similar size sensor rather than a smaller 1/2.3" one?

I wonder if anyone has actually asked to see under that cloth? Hopefully people aren't being shy. They'd probably get turned down but you never know.

Someone just needs to kamikaze, and pull the cloth up.

I'd bet it's the previously rumored microscopic and APS-C mirrorless cameras. Sigh...do they not know that a good portion of their userbase wants FF? Alas, I guess the lack of "D FA" lenses/patents should give me a hint.
