Which part of 'cloaking" didn't you understand? This lens is not only invisible, it also cloaks the body on which it's mounted. That's why we've not seen a FF LX-D1 announcement:yet....a Pentax accountant accidentally mounted a SAMCAAC lens on the LX-D1 prototype back in 2011 - and engineers and executives have been busy searching for the now cloaked kit ever since

No reason for Pentax to rush a 645D. MF probably has the most to gain from the size reduction and removing the much larger mirror. People who use MF don't need or expect lightning fast AF.

Agreed. 645 mirror box is huge. Leica did a lot better with their S2 on that PoV.
But Pentax can't do yet another mount with a mirror. I dunno if Pentax will go soon or at all mirrorless with APS/FF but they will go sooner for 645 IMO.

Did you notice that the 645D lenses are NOT on the new road map? Could there be a change of direction? Or did the marketing interns just screw up?

It was a rhetorical question - but - TYVM!! I imagine there is a 645 roadmap somewhere also - no need to hunt for it.

There is a later Q roadmap, created in May this year.

It moves the latest releases into "Current Line up" and adds detail for equivalent focal lengths including the Q7. It still shows the "Wide" and the "Telephoto Macro" for 2013 or later.

Bah, MF (645 and 67) are really lacking behind......more than a decade-and-a-half ago, my 8x10 view camera was already mirrorless.....

So, am I right that we've gotten the tele zoom and the body-cap lenses, and there're only two on the "todo" list for the Q roadmap?

That's either pretty good (they're sticking to their plan) or really disappointing (no perspectives for dreaming about exciting Q-gear...), can't figure out which.

There are indeed two prime lenses to come in "2013 or later" on the Q's roadmap: a wide lens and a telephoto macro lens.

As for Pentax 645 lenses, there are three zoom lenses to come, again in "2013 or later": a wide zoom, a standard zoom and a telezoom:
