In the latest National Geographic magazine (NOV 2007), they have an advertisingl page after the advertisements of the dslr companies below:

#1 Olympus
#2 Canon
#3 Sony a700
#4 Nikon D40x
#5 Pentax

Ad was quite bland. Imaging Evolved.PENTAX then shows 8 light saber type glowing rays over the camera and it doesn't even show the model. Doesn't make me want to buy it.

There are mulitple pentax ads in Popular Photography and Popular Science this month. Really suprised me! very funny ads too i might add

Oh, yeah, the ad is the best, in my opinion, and it is exactly who Pentax is, in my opinion and what I want Pentax continue to be, in my opinion. It really made me laugh and impressed to know how Pentax/Hoya is serious about their success.

No, no calendars.
I have a Pentax cup and a small Pentax battery ventilator though (which is used by my 3-year old most of the time).
