A 100 year old camera could take photos but the the Q is the smallest camera with in body SR and ultra wide 160 lens that could take 1080p30 HD video. The K-5 can't even do that.

The K-5 can shoot 1080p25 HD video with a 180 degree ultra wide fish-eye lens; the Q can't do that.

It is fun to shoot video with that lens, even if your feet are in the shot most of the time.

The Pentax Q does have to be bad at high ISO. Here is my small sensor Sony HX5V and it turned out pretty well.

Right, 1080p25 in MotionJPG vs 1080p30 in h.264. The Q wins.
