Since the 85/1.4 is only $400 and the 35/1.4 ca. $500 I would be surprised if it was not around those figures.
The 85mm F1.4 is $271.95 w/free shipping on Amazon and the 35mm F1.4 is $499.95.

Samyang/Rokinon are apparently working on a tilt-shift lens as well.

All we need is a 50mm f/1.2 and they'd have a pretty nice FF manual focus line-up. I'm seriously considering their entire line, along with the 8mm Fisheye for video stuff on my next Pentax dSLR. That I can throw them on my Super Program is just icing on the cake.

Samyang made a series for video : the Aperture ring has no kind of "click" that block the aperture on the number. The aperture ring is smooth from a side to the other, like on the old Helios or Jupiter. So you can change aperture without a suden.

Keep in mind if you want to shoot the 8 on FF (film for ptax) you will have to cut the hood off of the lens. The 8 is pretty good for amateur video, nothing professional - the 14 is a much better choice for use with video, you will have to have pretty mad blind MF skills though shooting video with the 14...

Samyang/Rokinon are coming out with some great lenses, at great prices.

If this lens is priced reasonable (which it should be) I will get it.

Definitely getting this for my D700. Not so interested in K-mount.

Will be picking up the 35/1.4 to replace my Nikkor in the next few weeks.

Indeed it does- but the search feature will do a good job of finding what you need in the meantime

Samyang lenses are building a great rep being used wide open ... but then losing the IQ when closed down when they should be getting even sharper. Still, you don't buy 1.2/1.4 lenses to use stopped down !

Exactly!!!

I'm pretty happy with my Tamron Adaptall 24mm f2.5, I can't see this lens being that much better, at more than twice the size and probably 6x the cost at least. But I am glad Samyang is producing all these nice primes, we need some nice competition to force the others to drop their prices a little Next Samyang needs a 400mm f2.8 for about $1000 and make the big makers crap a brick!

If you can't, you can't.
