FA 50mm 1.4 price drop?

I noticed the FA 50mm 1.4 lens is only $325.95 on the pentax web store which is lower than any online retail stores. Does this mean it will drop in the retail stores as well?

Yup, if Pentax has dropped the price, then retailers should be matching it shortly.

Nice. Hopefully we will see it for under $300. Not as cheap as it used to be but reasonable by todays standards.

This lens was ~150$ new, 3-4 years ago before the insane price increases of all the lens.

First thing I would do if I were introducing FF. Followed by new production of the 35/2.0.

Hoya were good custodians, and credit to them. But Ricoh are camera people, with other profitable businesses. I would bet that they have real ambitions (ones that management and engineers actually go to sleep at night thinking about) and want to shake things up a bit.

I'd vote for a FF folded-optic with EVF and DXO-type in-camera distortion/CA/vignetting correction for any lens. I can dream too!

Sweet. It was one of the first lens I bought (only 2 years ago). I remember at the time most places were selling for $320, and I thought it was a high price.

Doing some diggin' and I found a place to price match @ Henry's for $250 and I still remember how the guy working at Henry's Camera said "Wow, this is a ridiculously good deal".

I remember $230 USD for FA50/1.4...I've bought mine 5 years ago...

I remember $170 USD for FA50/1.7 (in 2005)

The prices in Russia, I think it could be cheaper in USA
