The nikon doesn't have so many manual control, it looks like it will be mostly menu based operation... The Q looks much better in that aspect.
Almost all the entry CSC have this problem

According to Nikon's sales pitch it's designed "...to creatively capture all of life's spontaneous moments"

I have a couple problems with this sentence. First is the split infinitive. Second is that it's an oxymoron, you can either capture spontaneously, or capture creatively. Third, you're going to have a hard time capturing the moment at all if there's no dial to select the settings you want. By the time to have the camera set, the moment has passed.

its a marketing tagline. not a grammar test.

like it or not, its still gonna outsell the Q based on brand recognition alone.

Will this follow through to DSLR's?

Imagine this type of sensor on a K-5. This I would like. Perhaps though only for smaller sensors. Anybody know the inside story?
