Regarding forthcomming GXR K-mount, i would be glad to know your source.
Regarding Ricoh's Pentaxist ambitions, they had better preparing a consistent announcement package if they don't want to decieve their actual and future customers.
Again, look at the new and multiple Fuji stuffs just beeing announced, it's very impressive !
the same interview as this but the Ricoh section they said they would release a k mount module for the GXR. which really is kind of a no brainer on their part. heck they used to make a k mount lens series themselves.
as for all the Fuji announcements, Fuji has always been big on CES announcements since they are big in the P/S market and most of the P/S announcements are made there (this really mirrors the way the X100 was launched as well)
changes in when the big photo shows have happened coupled with sensor supply issues, tsunamis etc has really thrown a wrench in the normal announcement timeline for all companies, but particularly anyone dealing with Sony for sensors - Nikon also has had little to say until the D4 which was long overdue (as is the D800) Perhaps the D4 announcement says the sensor supply issue is coming to a resolution finally. which means of course we will hear from pricoh either next week or at the show in February (remember they cancelled an announcement in the fall)
I agree though they need to get out and make some statements. pre-christmas was the wrong time though, so the next little while should present some new things (And i think they could learn from the other guys with their "leaked" cameras - it builds interest - they seem to be working on an old model of keeping it quite until the announcement
