In the late 70's they said the same about digital watches. It turned out eventually that the old way was the better way to visualise time for most people. Likewise, visualizing or seeing, the most important part of photography, is best done the way it has always been done...
Cameras with optical finders do have electronic ones as well (at least most of them).
