K-mount goes high-end P&S.

The VF issue is.........an issue. Does the rear LCD articulate?

Not bad looking

Price. It's all about price.

But lose a bilt-in EVF and in the Fuji case a hydride viewfinder.
Fuji's Hybrid Viewfinder seems to work to a point. A lot of rangefinder people still complain about it, I think.

I've decided that it is ugly in that perfect way that makes it look even better. I hope there is an optional viewfinder attachment.

I wish someone would leak pictures of the back.

It the hybrid VF worth the ~$1000 price premium to you? For me, no, esp since I already have the DA Limiteds and just need the body.

I hope it accepts AA batteries and has a lithium option as well.. that was a HUGE reason why I went with the k-x...
Looking at the leaked image of the battery door (here), I doubt it is going to take AA batteries.

It was already written that the K-01 accepts the K-7 and K-5's batteries.

I am also wondering if it might have PDAF. There is space.

Ahaha, I sorta agree with this. It's not "pretty" in any way, but it's rugged looks along with the slight stubbiness to it makes it appreciable.

(plus I already have two extra K-5 batteries )

I love the closeups of the metal body. It looks like a tank. I'll probably have to get one with an m42 adapter, put a Takumar lens on it, and listen to the Melvins all day.

(because you know....... metal)
