Indeed, it was said that there was no "eyelevel viewfinder". Also no EVF.

Now, it's exactly 60 years ago that Asahi's first SLR was shown to light (in 1952). What if they did something with the Asahiflex idea of a WLF? So the LCD on top, with a foldable finder.

I had something like that in mind, but almost didn't dare to write it. Hmm... that's very intriguing! Maybe there even is no LCD on the back, just on the top. That would make it easier to make the camera thinner (especially if it actually does focus fine-adjusting with the sensor and needs some more room to move the sensor backwards )!
Heh. I've written that post a deleted it twice in the last two days.

Of course, but a professional needs to take care that (s)he doesn't end up as a cripple through the use of un-ergonomic equipment...
If that's the case, then hospitals would be overflowing with people using cell phone cameras and point-and-shoots. Bringing the camera up to your eye has its advantages (stability, concentration). Keeping the camera away from your eye has its advantages too (creative POV, discreet, maintain eye contact with subject). To suggest that one is right and one is wrong is a bit far fetched. Again, it's the result that counts.

Also this:
This first image really hits home for me - Pentax can now rightfully claim to have the most complete mirrorless lens lineup.

It's a bit of a coup. From the weakest dSLR lens lineup to the strongest mirrorless lens lineup in one fell swoop. Well played, Pentax!

The one on the left looks like it has that flat 40mm. And by gods, it looks flat. *joke mode* Asian girl chest flat *exit joke mode*

Looks quite ordinary to me.
And this should be something special, different to everything else?

Well, Nikon could have made that claim with their 1 AF adapter... Except for the lack of a true wide-angle, with the 2.7x crop factor...

Where is the 'brick' everyone was speculating about? There is no 'brick' here.

Not that I wanted a brick - I like the K-01 design.

I really hope this camera helps Pentax sales (I am still OVF person, however).

I agree that both has its virtues. It depends a lot on the weight, though. Although I've used my K10D with stretched hands (shooting blind-folded, so to say ) on concerts with success, and I guess that's around 1.3 kgs with the 16-45 mounted.
